「春休み」= (the) spring break
NHKラジオ英語番組「レベルアップ英文法」で出てきた語句です。
あまり長くない休みを指すようです。
とても基本的な単語ですが、手持ちの和英辞典には
春休み = spring vacation
としか出ていません。
とても簡単な語句にもかかわらず、新鮮な感じがしました。
ちなみに、the spring break は下記の文脈で使われていました。
I am a new student.
I am from Fukuoka.
My familily and I moved here during the spring break.
